Faculty and Staff mail accounts are referred to as “OutlookLive” account/mailboxes.  These are externally hosted mailboxes through Microsoft.  You can access them by going to http://outlook.com or by clicking on the link found at http://home.hiram.edu

The following link will take you to a Microsoft support site that should be able to answer most of the question you might have when using your new mailbox.

There are many great benefits to having our mail hosted by Microsoft.  Just to name a few would be vastly increased mailbox capacity, increased mobile support and availability, as well as providing externally hosted communications in the case of an emergency/disaster.  You will find an enriched Online Web Access interface (OWA) that looks and feels much like your existing Outlook Client.

Please direct any questions about this to the Dray Helpdesk x5313.
