Fine Arts Workshop Added to Summer Fun

April 5, 2012

A summer Fine Arts Workshop has been added to the slate of learning opportunities and activities this summer at Hiram College.

For three Saturdays (July 7, 14 and 21, 2012) from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM on Hiram College’s campus, students will learn printmaking (silkscreen), painting and drawing.  Young artists will work with Hiram faculty to expand their artistic abilities, aesthetic judgment and advanced visual skills. The workshop will conclude with an art show for family and friends.  The fee to participate is $55 and covers all meals, art supplies and materials.

The workshop is the latest addition to a schedule loaded with educational academies, summer camps and activities for youth of all ages where they can get hands-on experience and diverse educational opportunities led by Hiram’s faculty and other experts – while having fun doing it.
