Chelsea Kovach

Chelsea Kovach is a senior majoring in Early Childhood Education. She is from Lakewood, Ohio and alum of Lakewood High School. In high school she played volleyball freshman and sophomore year along with varsity basketball all four years. When she came to Hiram, although she is a part of the Hiram Women’s Basketball team, one of her main goals was to become more involved because she felt she didn’t take the opportunity in High School to do so. Proud to say, she has met her goal along with being a student athlete, and an Orientation Leader, she also works in Admission as a Navigator, she is a part of Habitat for Humanity, and is very involved with the education program.  In her free time Chelsea loves to watch movies, play other sports, and find little projects to work on around the house. Chelsea comes from a very supportive family; daughter of Cindy and Dale Kovach, she also has an older sister and younger brother who she loves to spend time with, along with her dog Owen. When she came to Hiram she got the same supportive and comfortable feeling as she was taken on her campus tour, and hosted overnight. She is so excited to share her experience here at Hiram and welcome you, class of 2016!
