Kaitlin Ruszkowski

Kaitlin Ruszkowski is a junior majoring in Biomedical Humanities with a minor in Spanish.  Kaitlin is a Mentor, Ohio resident and Mentor High School Alumnus.  She won female class clown at Mentor High School.  Here at Hiram, Kaitlin is a 3rd year Resident Assistant, a student worker in the Hiram College Residential Education Office, a member of Hiram College Medicus as well as a member of Hiram’s TASC Force.  While most of Kaitlin’s time is dedicated to her studies and her jobs, she enjoys running, spending time with her family and friends, volunteering with hospice, and playing with her Bullmastiff Bella Marie.  This summer Kaitlin plans on working part time at Hiram in addition to volunteering with Hospice, shadowing physicians, and doing a one month independent study in a medical clinic in El Salvador. She is excited to embrace a new culture, medical techniques, and can’t wait to learn Spanish while she studies abroad.  Kaitlin loves autumn at Hiram because of the changing leaves that make the campus look so beautiful.  She also enjoys Hirams’ traditional Bread and Soup nights, the annual Quad Pizza contest, the 12-week and 3-week schedules, as well as the close-knit community.  Kaitlin can’t wait to meet the new freshman class of 2016!
