Megan Johnson

Megan Johnson is a junior, Sociology major with a minor in writing and will be graduating with the class of 2014. Megan currently lives in Twinsburg, Ohio and is a Twinsburg High School alumnus. Besides being an Orientation Leader, Megan is also a Vencl-Carr Teaching Assistant, Writing Assistant and is involved with the Sociology Club. Outside of Hiram, Megan works at Bath and Body Works, volunteers at Hattie Larlham, babysits and tries to find time to plan her future wedding since she is newly engaged! In Megan’s spare time, she loves watching scary movies, playing softball, volleyball, running and doing yoga. Next year, Megan will be applying to Case Western Reserve in order to pursue her master’s degree in child welfare social work. But for now, she is excited to focus all of her attention on welcoming the new students to Hiram College and making them feel loved and supported. Her favorite quote comes from Margaret Mead who says “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
